Upon meeting with our client we issued letter of claim and thereafter we issued our client's claim through the Injuries Board. We then embarked on all essential procedural steps to include having our client assessed by numerous expert medical consultants and we obtained expert reports on our client's injuries. Our client's loss of earnings were quantified and all other damages and heads of claim were submitted as part of the claim.
Ultimately the case settled in the amount of €159,494.01. The settlement was approved by Senior Counsel and the case completed in its entirety by April 2012.
Timeframe for completion of the case was 1 year and 9 months.
